Planned and Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

Planned and preventative maintenance overview

As a Landlord, Tenant, Property Manager or owner occupier, you have a responsibility to maintain the property to prevent deterioration and incur large reactive repair costs.  We understand that property maintenance can be expensive, especially if repairs and redecoration are not undertaken regularly.  With Planned and preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule we can inspect the property for you and provide a report detailing the works over a specific period such as 5 or 10 years.

When you plan your maintenance in advance, you’re not only planning the works required, you’re also able to estimate the likely costs involved.  This allows you to keep control of both your finances and ensure the property is kept up to a reasonable standard. This is of benefit to Landlords or Property Managers who operate service charge agreements, knowing the work needed and the costs involved.  This enables you to spread out the cost over a certain period of time and ensure your service charge rates are sufficient.

We work with you, to tailor our report to your needs. Following our inspection, we draw up a details schedule outlining the work needed, paying attention to the budget and the logistics of the property. We can adapt the report and costs to meet with your budget of service charge requirements. If necessary, we can obtain support from other consultants including Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (M&E).

If required, we can draw up Schedule of Works and tender documents, appoint Contractors and oversee the works through to completion as part of Contract Administration service.
