Cornerstone were appointed as the Contract Administrator to oversee the refurbishment of the existing café. We worked closely with the catering consultant to ensure the Project met the high expectations of the Client.

The Role

Assisting the End Users to set out a Design Brief for the tendering Contractors on the project and assist the Client with regards to contractual matters. Following a tendering procedure in which the Contractors put forward their designs and proposals for the project, a single Contractor was selected. Cornerstone assisted with value engineering the design to meet the budget. Following the appointment of the Contractor, we oversaw the works on site, which was undertaken within a short 4-week period.

Project Outcomes

The refurbished café has greater appeal and has been well received by the Tenants at the office as well as being more inviting to members of the public which has increased revenue.
