Building Survey Overview
If you’re wanting to invest in a property, regardless of whether you’re buying or leasing, you’ll want your decision to be a sound business and financial one. Unfortunately, hidden issues and defects in a property can turn your decision into a costly mistake. It’s therefore crucial that you minimise those risks, by getting a thorough building survey carried out.
We’ll thoroughly inspect the property for you, with the intention of assessing the condition of the premises, along with highlighting any issues or defects it has. If necessary we can discuss the inspection with you before issue of our report to detail our initial findings.
You’ll then receive a final report, so you’re equipped with the information you need, to make an informed decision about your property and, potentially, with the necessary information to make financial savings before you commit.
Depending on the property and your requirements, we can tailor our reports to single properties or multiple properties on an estate. Alternatively, you may wish for us to look at a single item of concern on a property and we can provide a defects report. We look to meet the Clients expectations and provide a report that is suitable to you.
Here at Cornerstone Building Surveyors, we don’t like to leave it there. We’re also able to undertake Contract Administration services to rectify any issues, once you have possession of your property, to bring your new property back to its required standard.
