Brief
Following the purchase of the industrial estate, the Client wished to undertake works to divide up the larger units, install new WC facilities and undertake general refurbishment works ready for re-letting.
The Role
Cornerstone undertook works to prepare the necessary Specification and drawings, in order to meet the Client’s requirements and have these ready for tender. We prepared the Building Regulations application with regards to works relating to the installation of WCs and drainage, plus fire protection and separation works and obtained consent.
Following a tender process and Contractor appointment, Cornerstone oversaw the works as Contract Administrators. This included regular site visits to review programme and progress, review variations and applications for payment. Works completed in line with the programme and all units were ready for letting.
Project Outcomes
The units have now been successfully let and the overall asset has been improved.
